“Practice random acts of chivalry everyday.” – Daniel Knight

Kindness really is as simple as A-B-C:

Acceptance over anger…

Benevolence not violence…

Compassion versus cruelty.

In honor and appreciation of what my folks taught me about the importance of giving back and in the spirit of helping others, I do my best to advocate for several causes that support humans and non-humans alike.

In remembrance of my mom Agnes:

The moving force behind the work of the Association is a network of more than one million volunteers, a membership of more than 441,000 people with diabetes, their families and caregivers, a professional society of nearly 16,500 health care professionals, as well as more than 800 staff members. Please help by volunteering or donating. Thank you.

To honor my dad Joe and his fellow disabled vets:

We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. Please help by volunteering or donating. Thank you.

To pay back my many furry friends for the joy they have shared:

An estimated 90% of the animals that enter shelters are adoptable, or could be, with care and treatment. The problem is a big one, no question… but we believe it’s possible to make this senseless killing a thing of the past. The No More Homeless Pets Network is comprised of rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations and shelters actively saving lives and reducing euthanasia rates in their communities. Please help by volunteering or donating. Thank you.
